Dahlia Delight

Description

I was struck by the subtlety of this all white Dahlia and used back-lighting and focus stacking to capture the inner glow this beautiful flower contained. This was a difficult photograph to print so that it retained that feeling of subtle light but and I went through several iterations with different contrast and brightness levels before I was satisfied that I’d found the right combination.
